The Beautiful Coronado Flower Show

Who shows up at the Coronado Flower Show without a camera? That would be me. I blame years of forced multi-tasking for addling my formerly high functioning brain.

Held every April in Spreckels Park, the Coronado Flower Show is the largest tented flower show in the entire nation. Entrants compete for the best individual flowers, bonsai trees, arrangements, table settings, and more. The place is packed with happy grandmas and a few grandpas. The rest of the grandpas are up the street at the annual car show, which strategically runs simultaneously with the flower show.
